Formula Electric Racing NUST (FERN) from Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC-NUST) has received technical sponsorship from Tesla. one of the most valuable automotive brands that is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy with electric cars, solar and integrated renewable energy solutions and so on. This sponsorship is given to Formula Student teams from all around the world, and FERN is the first and only team from Pakistan to receive it. Aside from technical support, Tesla will give FERN a 5000 euro discount on enepaq tinybms, ADI & TI, bms chips, and dev boards.
According to the minister, IT exports were $1.4 billion in the 2019-20 budget year, $2.1 billion in the 2020-21 fiscal year, and $2.6 billion until May 2023. Pakistan has launched its first smartphone app for car rental and shipping, "The Movers," with its main office in Lahore. The service will initially be available in Lahore but expand throughout Pakistan. The Movers' revenues will stay in Pakistan due to its indigenous nature. The company offers drivers discount cards, medical services, and free education for their children. The company's representatives believe the app has a promising future, focusing on providing excellent service to users and employees. Dignitaries praised the indigenous car rental app and urged regional startups to accelerate operations. The app simplifies vehicle rental by allowing users to search for available vehicles, select pick-up locations, car types, and manage bookings.
